A review of To All the Boys I've Loved Before

Lara Jean is not that all native but it gives you that like perspective of her especially how she reacts when her letters are sent out by Kitty. Margot is described as smart and sophisticated but I can't help to think that her character is a bit stuck up.. quite quick to judge. I get that she's the oldest and given the circumstances of her mother she takes on greater responsibilities. Kitty's character does give a positive funny approach to the book as she is the youngest Song girl. What I do like very much is the whole concept that Lara Jean wrote letters to her past lovers. The boys she wrote to had no idea how she felt but here's what I like instead of sulking in sadness of something that never happened between her and the certain boy she wrote to them goodbye as in a way to heal her heartache and give herself closure. Along the book you get to read the letters she wrote and they're written with such innocents and passion and humor. I do believe it's quite an interesting Y/A book I recommend.
