A review of The Book Thief
This book is a great read. The characters are developed beautifully and the plot line is funny, gripping, and heart-wrenching. I enjoy reading historical fiction and this book was a bit lighter than any others that I have come across about Nazi Germany. With the main character being a young girl the reader is able to see the world through a child's eyes. The story is told by "death" which presents an interesting point of view.
