A review of Shatter Me
It was fantastic! Definitely one of the best books I've read this year. I found it really similar to many YA books that have come out recently because of the fact that it took place in a dystopian society. But there was a slight twist with the main character having a special power: she can kill people by touching them. The three main characters, Juliette, Adam, and Warner, were amazing. They were so...realistic. They weren't perfect. They each had their own insecurities. Juliette was fierce and strong and she never gave up, while Adam was sweet, protective and comforting. This may make him seem sort-of like a pansy, but he was just as--if not stronger than--Juliette. But Warner was my favorite. He was just so...bad. He's definitely the villain, but his intentions were good. In his POV, what he was doing was right. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that this was a great book. I recommend it for anyone who liked Fallen, Hush Hush, and Hunger Games. It's a read you won't regret.
